Published on Sunday, May 6, 2018

On Tuesday April 24th, 2018 – Dammam Sheraton Hotel, GNS and Tenable jointly conducted an exciting event about Cyber Exposure & Industrial Security to understand the current landscape of threat exposure as well as discuss the solutions to modern threats.

The event was centered around 3 questions:

How secure are you?
How exposed are you?
How do you proactively reduce your exposure?

The introductory address was given by Mr. Saddam Jarrah, Tenable Sales Manager who covered the subject of Network Security. Mr. Amjad Khader, Tenable Sr. Pre-sales Consultant, discussed "Measuring Cyber-exposure on Today's Modern Assets" and how the attack surface is expanding. He elaborated that Cyber Exposure measurement has become an emerging discipline for modern IT security teams and the focus of Vulnerability Management has shifted from a product-based solution to a comprehensive, strategic guide for IT Security.

Whether it is Cloud, IoT, IT or Operational Technology, the modern threats of today do not need only a solution, they need a platform that comprehensively addresses the life cycle of Cyber Exposure.

Tenable and GNS provides our client with multiple platforms ranging from cloud:Tenable.IO, On-premises:SecurityCenter to small business:Nessus.

Moreover, Mr. Fadel AlQassab, Business Development Professional (GNS), presented about "The Value of a Partner" and how GNS helps Tenable address current pain points for the IT teams using technical knowledge, experience and competencies gained across the spectrum of Cyber Security platforms.

The event attracted more than 20 prestigious companies from Eastern Province which shared with us their experiences and feedback.

Please, stay tune with GNS for the next events this year, 2018 and we hope to see you again.
